Montana Women’s Business Center in Bozeman has been recognized by the SBA with the National Women’s Business Center of Excellence Award.

Prospera Business Network has hosted the Montana Women’s Business Center (MTWBC) since 2009.  In the past few years, the MTWBC has hit its stride garnering additional state-wide attention.

With signature trainings including Power Up: Creating Your Business, Financial, and Marketing Plan; Finance Up: Create Your Personal Budget + Create Wealth, and Link Up: Women’s Business Accelerator participants travel up to 250 miles to attend one of our MTWBC trainings.  Online business courses have also expanded to 800+ classes to help reach women entrepreneurs in rural communities and the MTWBC continues to provide innovative and thoughtful advice to Montana business owners.

This year, the MTWBC received national attention when it partnered with Google to help host a business training in Bozeman in November 2018.  Because of that partnership, Google awarded a $50,000 sponsorship to Prospera and MTWBC which will be used use host more Google trainings in southwest Montana in 2019.

WBC is driving a culture of entrepreneurship under the leadership of Director Suzi Berget White.  Suzi is an award-winning leader in the Bozeman community and is a valued resource offering collaboration and support to woman-owned small businesses.  She has helped increase the marketing presence for Prospera Business Network and the Montana Women’s Business Center during her tenure.

The MTWBC was nominated for this award by Paul Reichert, Executive Director at Prospera Business Network in Bozeman.
