The Salvation Army Red Kettle Kick Off will be held on Saturday, November 25 from 11 am until 1 pm at Scheels in Billings.
Lunch will be served from one of the Community Table Vans that serve over 400 meals six days a week to those in need in Billings. Donations into the Red Kettle will kick off Salvation Army’s main fundraiser for the year. A grant has been pledged to match all donations received.
The Salvation Army is seeking volunteers to help ring bells at 26 doors at local businesses Nov 17- Dec 23 from 11 am to 7 pm, every day except Sunday.
Sign up your group, business or club’s name on the kettle while you are ringing.
Consider asking family, friends, businesses, church groups, or service clubs to volunteer for a day, a shift or a few hours to help those in need.
The Salvation Army Christmas kettles help feed over 400 meals a day, six days a week from mobile vans in the community, provide emergency housing, rental assistance, and gifts for children for Christmas.
