The North Dakota State Fair in Minot, North Dakota has been cancelled due to the COVID 19 crisis. The fair was set for July 17-25.
The ND State Fair was one of the first fairs expected to be held following the business shutdowns throughout the country, and MetraPark officials had said they would be watching closely how they did it. With plans to try to still hold Montana Fair set for August 7-15, they are conferring and sharing ideas with fair producers across the country.
As is Montana Fair, the ND State Fair is the largest annual event in the state. The ND fair typically attracts about 300,000 people each year and Montana Fair draws upward of 250,000.
