People in Montana earning incomes between $50,000 and $75,000 will see a reduction in their taxes on average of 2.3 percent or about $1,411 as a consequence of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA), according to an interactive program made available by the Tax Foundation.
The tax cut for those making less than $25,000 will be about the same 2.3 percent, or on average $841.
People in the state earning between $100,000 and $200,000 will see an average tax cut of 2.4 percent or about $3,175.
Those earning over $500,000 will experience on average of 5.1 percent, or about $23,504.
